I was wondering what format the results take. Is it a letter home or an informal discussion. My dgs gets his results today and didn’t know ‘how’ they came.

Different schools will do it differently. DS just got a letter last year.

Note that although the results come out today, the school may not send them home today.

Ours come home with full school reports on Friday. Each school is different.

Results came in at 7.30 this morning so will probably take a couple of days to come out

Last year DD got hers in the same envelope as her report. I think that was a couple of days after the school received the results.

Apparently there has been some cock-up on publishing todays results and the results have been taken down from the NCA site.

Only the percentages have been taken down - the children's results are still there. Schools usually have to work them out themselves anyway.

It's a statutory requirement for schools to report your child's teacher assessment in reading, writing, maths and science, also their test raw score, scaled score and whether or not they met the standard in the reading test, maths and spag tests.

They also have to report school Y6 data and how it compares to last year's national data.
