Head removed from school by "men in suits"

happened during the school day. Head hasn't been back since, parents have been told he is taking a leave of absence, so deputy in charge. C. 6/7 "men in suits". Some reports include handcuffs but I didn't see any.

So, assuming it relates to something at school, it must be finance or safeguarding?

Head has been in post nearly 2 decades and school has been outstanding for years. The community is reeling. What/when should we expect to be told?

My first thought was a malicious allegation, but the response seems OTT for something complete unsubstantiated. There have been allegations at schools I've worked at and they haven't been handled like this. What's your experience?

None! This must be extraordinarily rare. Hopefully the children did not see any of this. I am amazed it was "suits". Surely the Police would have had a uniformed officer too? Also a Police car.

It could be safeguarding - or running a drug cartel - who knows? I obviously do not think its the latter, but being escorted off the premises is fairly heavy. It coud be embezzlement. It would be megga bucks though for this to happen.

I would await further information from the Chair of Governors. They surely have to say something fairly quickly. Keep an eye on the web site or the book bag. Do keep us informed of any further developments.

l worked for the police for 28 years, six and a half with CID. 6-7 'men in suits' seems a hell of a lot if it was police! ln most places that would be the entire CID section!
l'm sure there'll be a lot of gossip and conjecture, but l'd take it with a pinch of salt. The truth will out eventually.

My money would be safeguarding. 6-7 men in suits sounds like the NCA (National Crime Agency). However would of expected at least one to be uniformed.
