Hi all,
which areas in London has good primary and secondary schools? and reasonable prices to rent

Gosh, that's quite a general question. Please could you say how much you can afford in rent and whether there is anywhere that you need to commute to every day? My understanding is that the trains into central London from Sydenham make that quite attractive, it isn't super expensive and the schools are pretty good. However, that may not work for you.

At the moment I don't need to commute to work. I was in croydon before rents are very high it seems.£1000 max.

Croydon is probably cheaper than most places in London to rent, unfortunately. Maybe look at Bromley? There's some good schools - lots of info if you search the threads on here.
