I'm sightly out of date as my friend with a child there moved him a couple of years ago, but they have lots of children with English as a second language and she moved him as she felt that the academic standards were not high enough.

But, it does have a good before and after school care and there are a wide range of well-funded non-core subjects available.

We went to see it when I was looking at schools and I got a very good feel for the school during our tour round. I also thought that their website was an accurate representation of what they offered.

Are you close enough to Emmanuel to make getting a place a possibility, that is a lovely school.

Hi

Thank you so much for your feedback. really Appreciate.
Could you also please suggest how is Darrel Primary School in Richmond? we have also been offered a vacancy there for year 2, so still undecided between Beckford or Darrel?

Regards
Radhika

Hi

I have finalised my house in NW6 area and now have admissions in 2 schools, Beckford Primary School and Kingsgate Primary School. My son will turn 7 in September 2018. Can anyone please suggest which is a better school of these two? I visited both and one thing I needed noted is that Kingsgate has lot of kids from ethnic minority backgrounds and reviews say deprived sections of society. So I am a bit confused now. Please suggest.

I did recently meet a teacher at Kingsgate who said it was amazing and I don't think she was just saying it because she worked there. Outstanding Ofsted I believe. I think Beckford is pretty good too.

Thank you Eesha! I am inclined to Kingsgate hearing so many good reviews about it. Just have one doubt in mind regarding ‘ too many’ students from ethnic minority or deprived sections in that school. Not sure how true this is, but curious to know the mix of children coming to Kingsgate.

I think you'll definitely get a larger proportion of ethnic minorities in both schools just because it's London really and where these are located. Maybe go have a look and see where you get better feel for. If you want a different mix, maybe try for Emmanuel?

Sure! Thank you Eesha!
