Teachers gift for new teacher?

My ds is starting year one in September and said his reception teacher likes pens 😁 which to be fair I'm sure she does, so we have put together stationary hampers for her and his ta to say thank you, all well and good I hope, then I was thinking about gifting the class some supplies as I'm sure they can never have enough! Would you gift it to his reception class that he's leaving or the year one class he's joining? Thanks

Generally end of year gifts go to the teacher they are leaving

Definitely to the current teacher.

I initially read this as your ds starting reception and you'd already filled a hamper bribe for the new teacher Grin

Lol no bribery yet! His reception teachers that he's leaving will get the hampers, it's the classroom supplies I was unsure off, class packs of glue sticks and pencils ect

Amazon vouchers, so they can order what they need for the classroom or want for themselves

If you don't want to do that, buy a lot of glue sticks. The well-known brand, not the cheap imitations.
