Hi,
I'm looking to move to Little Chalfont this summer. As the outstanding schools are oversubscribed, can someone please tell me what Chalfont Valley is like? I would like my son to try for DCGS but in the meantime i don't want his primary years to be affected. On the ofsted report it seems that the school is making good progress. However, how are the kids like? I am recently divorced so my son is a little overwhelmed. I don't want to add to his woes if he doesn't fit in. He's a sensitive soul, bless him. Any information will be appreciated! Thanks!

Hello,
Another mum in the same boat! We moved into Little Chalfont and have been offered place in Little Chalfont Valley school. This would be year 5 and year 1. @Nata13 - would love to hear how our experience has been with the school? Is it worth it or maybe I should look into Chenies school?
I haven't finalised my driving license yet, so that is one reason I have no choice but to accept a place in this school. However, at the same time I am conscious that this might not be good for my girls :(

Just hoping to hear some good reviews.
Little Chalfont Primary seems to be forever full! which is quite disappointing!
Thank you.

Hi, I can't say anything about Chalfont Valley but one of my kids is going to Chenies School and I can only highly recommend the school.. My extremly shy daughter blew up there, everyone from Head to Office Ladies were so welcoming that she loooves going to school. The Teachers are amazing and the parents lovely.

Little Chalfont school has been popular for decades. It’s not new that it’s full.

Well my son is still going to his previous school. The only reason was that chalfont valley is still not the nearest school and it was almost 15 min commute ti c.valley by car. Whereas my son’s school was almost 21 mins away. Now we just thought it was saving us literally 12 mins a day , so was nit worth changing schools as my boy is not shy but extremely cautious one. He was already worried we might change his school :/

@Necla what school in cheninies are you referring to ?? Doest it come under bucks council ??

@Nata13
Its Chenies School. It’s a small 4-11 CofE primary school in the village of Chenies which is n Bucks. It’s between Little Chalfont and Chorleywood. You can check on the Bucks web site to see if there are any spaces but with (it says) just 104 on roll it will operate mixed age classes. In year applications are via Bucks but the school takes 15 each year so by my calculations, with 104 on roll, it technically has one space. However how it organises its classes might influence admission.
