Hello. I have a 2 yo daughter and i'd like to start her in a local prep school. I'm relatively new to the area and don't know where to begin! I know i have Aldenham, Radlett Prep, Manor Lodge and Edge Grove near me. Does anyone have any experience of these schools? Is it too early to go on open days?

What about habs, then no need to do the 11+.

Laptopdisaster - thanks. I hadn't thought of Habs! I hear they're very academic though. what do you think?

Lovely lovely school, remarkable chilled out in the junior years, minimal homework in primary. Definitely worth a go.

DD went to Longwood in Bushey for 3 years (we moved away from the area) - they were lovely. You'd need to get her into nursery though as I think there are waiting lists.

Abbots Hill has a great reputation and has a coach from Radlett
