Lowther Primary School

Hi parents,
Our family is looking to move to Barnes this summer and while it sounds like Barnes Primary is near impossible to get into, Lowther may be a possibility. Can anyone share their experience with the school, positive or negative? Wondering about the ethos (traditional v progressive) and whether the children get a well rounded experience, which includes arts and outdoor time along with the academics.
Thanks so much for any insight!

Lowther's a fab school - have you been to look around? It pushes kids to achieve at the same time as really taking care of them and giving them a true love of learning. The best way to judge is to go and have a look but any specific question id be happy to help.

It's the summer fair on Saturday if you want to meet families en masse!

Thank you so much for your thoughts, ladyme. We decided to move to Chiswick, so kids will be attending school there (we hope!) and while we won't be living in Barnes, I look forward to exploring the village and all the green space there.
