Hi, DD in year 6 but very tall, 5ft5. Has anyone found anywhere that sells adult sized school summer dresses (red white checked)?

Local uniform shop and places like George at Asda only go up to aged 14, which she had last year and are now way too short.DD needs more like an adult size 10/12. Many thanks

John Lewis do one that goes up to age 16.

This place might be more sensible. Largest size is 40”, which sounds like an adult size.

Or there’s Amazon.

Have you thought about buying a spare dress and extending the current one by adding a waist band in the same fabric??

I got John Lewis age 14 for Dd who is 5 2 and in year 5. They are a long style, hers is well below the knee. Because it has a tie at the back it can be gathered in so looks ok.

Ahh great! I just googled it and eBay was the first thing that came up lol

I never thought of ebay. My dd is 5'4 (already taller than me) and a skinny little thing. I got her grey shorts and white polos instead of a dress as a compromise, as we couldn't find any blue checkered dresses that fit.
