I’m hoping to move into a new area in the next two to three months. I’ve had an offer accepted on our house and the one we are hoping to buy only last week.
The school admissions team have advised if we don’t apply by the first week of July they will not be able to deal with any applications until the beginning of September which will also mean they have a backlog of six weeks. We can apply once we’ve exchanged contracts.
My question is what happens if we miss the deadline? It wouldnt be possible for my daughter to continue with her current school due to the distance. Would she be left with nowhere to go until we get a place? The school we are hoping to apply at does currently have spaces.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
