Moving after school place allocation

We need to move to Bournemouth, ideally in the next two months and are really worried as our daughter starts school in September and has been allocated a school place where we currently live.

All of the schools in the area we like are full, so we would need to move and then join a waiting list.

Grateful for any advice, or to hear from anyone who has done this. It’s a big move for us and the uncertainty about schooling is really concerning us.

Thanks in advance!

If the school you've got is too far away from your new home the local authority must come up with a place for your daughter once your move is confirmed. The fact that local schools are already full is irrelevant. They have to find a place somewhere.
