DS1 IS WILFUL!

A few teachers have described my son as wilful, as well as a neighbour who is a head teacher. Can anybody please traslate to me what this really means? ( and no, you don''t have to be polite!)

I think they probably mean that once he decides on a course of action that it is very hard to dissuade him from it.

I suspect that the 'wiful' relates to negative acts, IYSWIM!

It probably means he's headstrong and obstinate, and would rather do everything his way than do what the teachers tell him.

Which probably describes most of the children in your son's class!
