Primary to Secondary teaching

I qualify in June and have a NQT place for Sept in an all through school (4-19). I will be working in primary but my degree subject and my experience before moving into teaching was in Business Studies.

Has anyone ever made the switch from primary to secondary. I know Qts allows you to teach throughout but realistically how many actually do/can.

It will be a few years before I do consider it but would like to ensure I keep my options open in the future. Thanks

It does tend to happen more the other way round ( secondary to primary) because obviously, primary teaching is much better! Grin
