Franciscan primary joining Graveney Trust

oking for advice I’m very worried/concerned about Franciscan primary school, it was made public late last year the school was proposing to join the Graveney Trust, the head made out like she wanted to hear opinions from parents and staff when actually it seems she had set her mind on this and it was going to happen
Parents asked for reassurance about the teachers and support staff in the school and was told it was a possible reshuffle of positions and staff on the whole was quite happy with what was happening
What she failed to mention that is slowly coming to light is longstanding members of staff are being made redundant, we are talking good quality staff members of over 20 years service, others with over 10 years service, these people who are the heart of the school who have supported the school through the good and bad times, she also hasn’t told the parents that ontop of leadership staff, longstanding office staff, there is also to be the removal of 200 hours of teaching assistants hours weekly
How is this going to benefit the children of the school, they want to double pupil intake and are halving the staff numbers
Not only are people be removed from their posts, there seems to be some very underhand tactics going on to make sure the staff members the head has brought in quite recently are keeping jobs
Can a petition do anything to halt the takeover until things are looked into better
Can a vote of no confidence be took against a head teacher
Any help or advice would be much appreciated

There could be all sorts of reasons why this is happening. Budgets are very tight and all headteachers and governing bodies are having to make cuts. No head wants to cut hours or make redundancies but they are left with no choice. I’m not sure on what grounds you would propose a vote of no confidence against the head, particulars when you don’t know the reasons behind the changes. I think you’ve made a lot of assumptions without having the facts.
