Does anyone else have a child significantly behind in Maths. Ds is nearly ten and has made lots of progress. He is in mainstream with a statement (we are in Northern Ireland).
His placement works really well and he is happy and making progress but there are certain things like times tables which are just beyond him.
If you have experienced this I would love to know what you/ the school did. Did you accept there were certain things your Dc wouldn't be able to do.
The statement states frequent access to small group and one to one work in maths which he does get but he feels under pressure too.
