Help! Differentiating improper fractions to mixed numbers

Hello

Was just wondering if I could call upon some advice regarding a lesson objective I'm covering in Maths next week...
Using diagrams, show how improper fractions can be expressed as mixed numbers. It's for a Year Five class.

Not entirely sure how to differentiate this one!

There's lots of leaning walks in school at the moment, which is adding extra pressure too!

Many thanks

For the less able you could get them to use some physical resources to show the mixed numbers and then take photos. This would save them getting stuck on the 'draw a diagram' part and it might help them to visualise it more.
How old are they?

Oh sorry, year 5.
The more able could make a poster/PowerPoint to teach others their method, including their diagrams?

Thank you so much for you help! I'm going to look at the links now. Fab idea about the poster etc. Will be using this Smile
