Good Primary Schools in East Grinstead

Hello!
This is my first post here and I'm wondering if anyone can help me in answering some questions about an area which my husband and I will be moving to with my 6 month old daughter.

Due to business reasons, my family will be moving to East Grinstead in the Spring of this year. Of course there is time until we start looking at schools for my daughter but we wanted to move to a location in East Grinstead which has good primary schools.

Does anyone have any insight into the schools in East Grinstead? As a whole, I know the area as such is nice, but know very little else.

If anyone has any pointers or personal recommendations from experiences they have had I would be so grateful.

Many thanks in advance! X

To be honest, all the primary schools in East Grinstead are good. I have heard mixed reviews of The Meads, but I also know numerous families whose children have been happy there and have had a totally positive experience. By the time your daughter is ready to start school things at particular schools may have changed anyway. There will probably be at least one primary with three-form entry by then- all thr primaries are one- or two-form entry at present, but there has been a huge house-building boom in the town recently, and all local schools are oversubscribed, so the pressure is on schools to expand. For the 2016 Reception intake lots of people didn't get their first choice of school, but people in general seemed happier with school allocation. Good luck with your move!
