Hi all! Have had a look at threads of AP school but they are of 2009!! It was outstanding back in 2010... then something happened and it didn’t fulfill OFSTED req and became an Academy. Am impressed by the current head & has brought the school to Good, with a new building and extensive sports grounds to come. Would appreciate your thoughts on the school, as current parent or recently left.... and if you could shed some light on what went wrong with the School back then??!! Many thnks

You might be better off posting in your local mumsnet board, your question is very specific to a locality.

I understand that the previous headteacher went off sick and there were a number of issues at the school. A local Academy trust were asked to step in and help provide leadership and get it back on track.
Since then, there's been a new head who has turned the school around and last year they moved into new premises at the same site, which are some of the best in the borough
