Anyone else struggling with schools decision ? I have a year one child who I withdrew so he is waiting to start new school. I have an application pending in our borough for school A borough say they will let me know about school A between 4th and 9th January. At the moment thinking school A (well resour ed good results nice head) is the right choice but yesterday was swaying towards school B undersubscribed school in neighbouring borough may be better for stressed out DS ( flexischooling initially small class but could grow no teaching assistants after year 1). Just wondering if anyone else is struggling.

I would check school A's good results are either because of good teaching or intensive sats prep, if your dc is already stressed out about school.

Thanks Yes that's my worry too not sure how to find out for sure. School A has lots of nqt s but good resources accelerated reading scheme, international primary curriculum for topic work in afternoon, online maths programme (and practical too it's not all online).
