What are the best primary schools in hornchurch, Rainham or upminister? What makes you decide on what's best is it the SATs results or OFsted rating?

That's quite a large area to choose from. Are you planning to move into the area or are you already living here. I know of good primaries in each of these areas but equally some primaries i'd avoid. I would go by a combination of ofsted, results and word of mouth!

I am looking to move into the area one of the homes IV seen is in the catchment of la salette, whybridge, at Alban's and scargill, just out of the zone for Scott's which I know is an amazing school. Do you know any one the above named schools? Would you recommend any?

Awh naw I'm on the wrong thread. Did you know this was the Scottish definition of havering?

Sorry, I heard of the schools but don't know them well (except for Scotts which has a great reputation). La Salette and St Albans are both catholic I think so you would probably need to meet the requirements.

However, you may find this info useful from the havering website. It gives you the stats for the admissions. I would be wary of any schools that are falling consistently to fill their places.
