Relocating to Edinburgh

Hello, We are relocating to Edinburgh from Ireland and I would be very grateful for any information. My children are 7 (p3) and 4 (pre-school) and we are moving mid school yea, hopefully around Easter. My main question relates to the curriculum and how similar/different it is?

I know the Scottish system but not the Irish one - hopefully you’ll find someone who knows both! There is also a MN local board for Edinburgh, and a Scotsnet one on the main site if you don’t get an answer here.
