writing workshops/ publishing companies

My DD is 8 and loves reading but not so much writing. I thought if there were workshops that might inspire her that writing can be published/ for other people to read ...Please could you share your recommendations?

Don't know about publishing, sorry.
What we did with my reluctant writer ds is use Pobble, Free writing recommended by mrz, and ArticleADay

Actually, he is not a reluctant writer anymore. This year, for the first time in years, the teacher said there's nothing to worry about his writing.
