What kind of level should DD be at in maths at this stage?
We don't have parents evening until December but she says she finds maths very hard at school and it's her weak area at homework time.
She's fine using the 100 number square and tens and units but adding and subtracting once we pass 20 is tricky.
How do you teach yours adding, subtracting and multiplication at age 7? Thanks for any help

This site has great tutorial video explaining how to do calculations.

This is mastery assessment for yr2, so expected to be able to these by end of year.

Ask your school for their maths/calculations booklet. my dd goes to one school and I work at another, both schools teach a slight variation. so to prevent confusion you are best to check their methods so you are all teaching your child in the same way! For instance my school refers to the place value as tens and units, my dd school refers to them as tens and ones.
