Does anyone have any experience with this?

We’ve just been to DD’s first parent’s evening (reception) and been advised that DD hadn’t ?scored well on some areas so will be going having intervention before retesting before Christmas.

The teacher was lovely and told us a couple of areas where DD hadn’t done so well - picking out big v small, pronouns, where/when. Both DH and I were a bit puzzled as DD usually has no issues with these sorts of things.

The teacher did mention that DD is lacking in confidence (went from a very small nursery setting to 60+ pupil reception class) and her attention span isn’t great which could have had an impact.

Has anyone else came across this before?
