When I started infant school all the way back in 1995 I remember reading some books starring a boy called Tom (once they'd let me read books with words, which was a great affront given I could read when I started school!). The titles I remember were something like "Tom has Spots" and "Tom and the Cake".
However, I cannot find trace of these books anywhere! I have a feeling we did the Ginn New Reading 360 books in infant school but it doesn't seem to be any of those. Does anyone remember them? I'm not sure why this is bothering me so much!
