Hi there quick question, can an essay be written with chapters in them? Thanks

As a parent, I can't think of any occasion in primary or secondary where an essay would have 'chapters'. You would be expected to use paragraphing to move to new points. At college level headings and sub headings would perhaps come in to play.

I can't see why a story couldn't have them though if that is what a child wanted to do? Though again at primary it might not be the standard, which normally wants a beginning, middle and end.

Hopefully a teacher will be along in a while.
