Good primary schools in and around York

Hi. We will be moving to York soon. I would like to see what the best areas in around York are with regards to schools. I am looking for a school that will support my children with possible learning difficulties .
Please recommend areas and schools.

I no longer live in York but I did train there and have family there. Poppleton road is a good school, my nephews attend and my sil is very happy. Otherwise it entirely depends on what you are looking for in a school and where you will be living

Sorry only half read your post-hob moor in acomb has a very good linked school on the same site which caters for children with additional needs. There is a lot of integration with both schools.
