Ds1 doesn't do any practice SATs at school (yippee!), but when I was just clarifying this with him the other day he said yes, but last week we did to "The Richmond test" at school.

What is this? Does anyone know?

There is something about it here , but I must confess I don't know anything about it. That was just googling, as I was curious!

Has anyone else heard of this?

I did those at school in 1979 - it was thelast year at primary and determined which set we would go into at secondary school.

They were multiple choice and you had to colour in the little ovals next to the answer with pencil
