Hi there,

Many infant/primary schools in Guildford are over subscribed so it may well depend on where you can get spaces - assume you are looking for in-Year entry if you need reception and year 2 now?

You probably need to ring the admissions people and ask where there are spaces and go from there...

I'm local so feel free to PM me if you get a list of possible options

Guildford notorious for awful traffic too so does depend on whereabouts you will be living...or are you aiming to decide school first and then move to that part of town?

Aim for Holy Trinity Pewley Down, Boxgrove, Queen Eleanors, St Nicholas' infants (but you'd have to move in a year)
The village infant schools around Guildford are fab and lead into generally great schools e.g. Puttenham/Shackleford Infants and Waverley Abbey Juniors, Tillingbourne Juniors etc.
Avoid the other side of the A3 if you can but remember Guildford is generally very affluent and even the 'rougher' areas are just relative.
The catholic schools are great if you are catholic.
