Just that really, my small boy has just started and he's happy out but I feel lost! He was in Montessori so I don't know why this feels so different. Is it normal? Have others felt like this? He is my youngest so definitely an end of an era with babies, I guess.
Am silly really I guess, I should be proud he is getting so big and is happy so far and i am really. Just not sure what's going on

He is beginning to develop as a child. He won't stay a nursery child forever. Why be sad? Enjoy his development and achievements. Be happy for him.

Montessori isn't that different and many nurseries who give themselves this label don't entirely follow the doctrine anyway. He's obviously not bothered so you shouldn't be either.

It's an end of era for both of you but the beginning of something new too. Worrying about your child is normal but try to relax and just be happy that he is happy and doing well. Change can be tough to face but is not without it's rewards. Good luck to both of you and here's to a great school year. Wine

Thanks Amy, I like that , change can be tough to face but is not without its rewards, that's how I'm going to look at it, I think I do get v overwhelmed at changes, so much anxiety and breath holding about his day going well, that I am too drained to figure myself out too. Hopefully a few more good days for him will see us right! Tks for kind words x
