Moving out of primary catchment

Hi,

My DD will be going into Year 3 this September and my DS is starting reception. We currently live about 10 minute walk away. We have lived here for 7 years.

We've just put our house up for sale and will likely be moving a couple of miles away (mainly to ensure that the secondary school choices are better than if we stayed here). Will my DC's places be safe at their primary school even if we end up moving out of the catchment? They both love their school (my DS has been in the attached nursery for 18 months) and we really do not want to move them.

Thanks!

Yes assuming you are in England. Once you have the place its yours.

Excellent. That's what I wanted to hear.
Thanks!
