DD is starting YR in a month.

I'm a mega organiser so got everything except the shoes and it's eating away at me to get them.

Is it too soon still?

Thank you SnorkMaiden and Mioaw. I will take him this week to get measured and then maybe order online to get the right size. I did not want to go too early as feet can be the same size for months and then grow a size and a half i n a very short time.

DS1 is a very tall lad with fairly big feet so I did not have the same issues with him.

Now I just have to persuade DS2 to actually have his feet measured. I have bought school uniform in a three different sizes as he won't try anything on in the shop, and I thought it might be better to fight that battle at home.

Thank you for your help.

Did it yesterday. Ds' feet (so far) haven't been very fast growers, and his school shoes/ school trainers (which aside from sandals & wellies are currently the only shoes he has) were very very small and scruffy. The school shoes lasted a year though. New ones (almost identical to last time) from clarks £38.

Bought my ds shoes months ago for £3 in Sainsbury's. Bargain of the year !
