Had a rather bizarre conversation with work colleague who said to her dd reception class that she was dissapointed with this grade. It was for effort rather than attainment in one subject all the rest a's. I thought it was slightly ott tbh anyone else ?

poor little thing

To be fair she did say that attainment she wouldn't say anything but she expects her effort grades to be 100% a's. I feel this is slightly unrealstic.

i think that's fine, as long as she is saving up lots of money for her Therapy Fund

She's getting grades in reception? Is this normal?

Agree Mrs M definately a step too far. My ds hasn't had any grades by the way.

Poor child, both at getting grades at reception level and especially at her mum's reaction
