Hi there, we just relocated to SW London and are looking into schools for our DS. We like the squirrels. Is it possible for them to have a space available in year 2 this September? Or there's a waiting list? If there's a long waiting list then we might not wait as the school finishes at year 2 anyway. Cannot call the school now since it's closed. Thank you.

You might be better looking at a school that will mean you do more than one year at a school.

Most registrars will be checking their emails at least once a week to deal with any queries from prospective parents, so do get in touch with schools you are interested in.

I'd be surprised if Squirrels had space but there are loads of great Prep schools in and around Wimbledon where your son can do more than one year.

Might be worth looking into other, (much more welcoming) schools in the area..? Willington I can speak for, others are Donhead, Rokeby but personally don't have experience w them. Willington is worth visiting to get the feel for what they have to offer. A school having well rounded, HAPPY boys. Best of luck on your search/decision!

Hi there - any advice on how to prepare your child for "entry test" at Squirrels? Which nurseries offer the best prep? Any other thinks we should do at home to help DS with the test?
