Pre prep private schools apps for single mum

Hi, I am a single parent and would lie to apply to few good prep private schools. Do you know I will be at disadvantage as a single parent to get the place there?

I know I went a little bit of subject but I just wanted to clear up the fact that some private prep schools aren't just about the money.

Many of the boy's prep schools in NW London require registration before the age of 1 (the Hall, Trevor Roberts, Hereward House etc). girls not so much - I don't know why this is.

I know someone at one of the above mentioned schools who was grilled at the parents interview as to why she wasn't a partner at her law firm and when she expected to make partner.
