Hi. Please could anyone recommend some books for teaching a child to write in different genres ( I am thinking about the model texts/ some key vocabulary and then child writing)? Please help me if there are any other strategies/ ideas

HI there,
I can't suggest book but I printed yesterday loads of poem from Twinkl (I have an account couldn't survive without)
SO the first page it's the poem second page it's the same poem but the child need to overwrite.
and third page the child need to copy and try try to make the same handwritting.
I showed this to my friend which is a year 3/4 teacher and she said it was a great idea to improve handwriting.
My son handwriting is awful and need a huge improvement he is in year 3.

Progress in Writing. A fantastic series that you can buy from amazon at the appropriate level. If Y4 then probably book 2?

The above are for improving writing across the genres - not handwriting
