My son is Y3 and has been sharing a 1;1 with another child, in Y4. The classes are y3/4 mixed. Now that the other child is moving to y5, my son has no additional classroom support beyond his usual class teacher and the class TA. Given that he's already miles behind, and gets a few targetted interventions, surely removing the additional support can only be detrimental. I don't know what to do. He has an EHCP which we are about to go to tribunal with, to get it rewritten but the rewrite doesn't mention hours because he's never needed a 1;1, only a share of one.
Please help!
