Very trivial but driving me mad! (re spelling)

DD’s school have 4 houses for the purpose of grouping DC and also for generating team spirit (e.g. at Sports Day they have a House Cup).
“Someone” (I’m charitably assuming only 1 person) is unable to spell the name of one of the houses and every email/letter home that references it is misspelt.

I’ve already at the start of the year (politely and when mainly replying about something else) pointed out the spelling mistake and had an “apologies, an oversight on my part” type response.
But still every single letter that mentions houses has the same misspelling.

This (IMO) just looks really sloppy.

The thing is, DD is in Y6, so about to leave the school, but I’ve just had another email with the house name misspelt and I am totally unfeasibly and irrationally annoyed!
I know the sane thing is to let it go and accept that the school will never again send me any more letters after the next few weeks.
But it’s just driving me mad!!

So - what is this 'name' ?

Yes, I agree it should not happen. Unless , of course it is an unusual name, and there are alternative ways of spelling.

That would drive me bonkers, too OP.

In much the same way that people confusing"loose" with "lose" i.e I need to loose weight oh my god, I don't even know how I can allow myself to type this error!

I'd definitely like to know how they've misspelled the house name, though.

Have I spelt misspelled correctly? It looks all sorts of weird Grin

Would drive me mad too op! We had an admin assistant at work who would send emails saying she was about to do the monthly 'stationary' order and did anyone need anything. Didn't matter how often I replied saying 'thanks, but I don't need any stationery this month' - she just kept on doing it Confused

We had a letter come home about our dd's music recital at school.

The line 'Mr B had worked effortlessly through the year...' Confused

Well, my Dh was having a field day with his red pen. Weirdly, my Dh cannot spell, and is always asking me to spell things for him, so he's a fine one to be getting his pen out.
