Have you found out what class your Reception child is in yet?

I am curious if anyone has found out what class their child will be in? Do we find out at the stay and play?

I have. Different schools do it differently.

We only have one class.

Yesterday, but as we're in Scotland there's only ten days left of term.

At the school I was at today they were doing the classes today in the staff room. The teachers deciding them I mean.

I have no idea which yr1 class ds will be in next year. His teacher knows though as she has discussed that she's discussed his reading with them.

We find out on the 13th July when we have our "new reception parents" talk thing at the school.

I will be finding out tonight at the schools 'welcome parents' meeting thingy.

I look forward to finding out. I have been told we should find out during the stay and play. My son will go into the class my DD is in now, but we are not sure which one, A or B.

I found out at the school open evening on Tuesday. I'm so pleased that he's in the same class as his nursery friends going there with him!

Our school are telling parents the new classes - from Reception upwards - next week.
