Kings and queens

My Dds (almost 7) have recently become interested in kings and queens of Britain. Can any of you wise mumsnetters recommend a book or books. Looking for something that has facts but where we can just learn about which ever king or queen seems interesting on that day. Their reading age is around 9 but don't mind reading it too them as long as the vocabulary is something they can comprehend. I can't remember all the facts so need something to answer their queries but fun too

DS dips into this book sometimes
Top 50 Kings and Queens

You can get it cheaper elsewhere than on Amazon, just linked here because of the 'see inside' feature.

Not a book, but the podcast rexfactor is fun, if noisy, on this sort of topic

We have this one:

www.amazon.co.uk/Kings-Queens-Usborne-History-Britain/dp/140954589X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1497985450&sr=8-2&keywords=usborne+kings+and+queen&tag=mumsnetforum-21

There is basically a double page for everyone including also the Scottish kings. DD dips in and out, lots of good facts not just the generally known one. Even I learned quite a bit. I found it more "academic" then the Horrible History ones.

I think it is from the same type as the cards but with more information.
