What makes us happy and sad- Homework for DD (6) great answer!!!

So we went to parents eve and the teacher said that DD is one of the quiet ones. Usually quietly doing something she shouldn't! Also she has friendship issues...which she thinks is a year 2 thing. Also that she needs a little extra help with her numbers, which we can do.

But the homework set this evening was to list the thing that make us happy and sad. Top of the list was 'when mrs (teachers name) is mean to me!!!

Oh my god do I let her hand this in or what?

Firstly, I would talk to your dd and try to find out if the teacher is being "mean" or if your daughter feels that when she gets told off this is mean. If the teacher appears to be picking on your dd unneccessarily, I think you have to take it further, maybe an appointment with the head.

And if it turns out your DD just doesn't like being told off for being naughty, add a note to Mrs X saying that you've had a chat with DD about it
