School Transfer In Reception

Has anyone transferred their child to another school in Reception because they were not happy with the school their child started at?

We have applied to transfer our DS and I am wondering what issues we might face?

I changed my DS's school in YR1.

As we saw it the younger the child the better it is.

You shouldn't get any issues. But I would tell the school why you are changing schools.

yes, we did this at with dd1 at the beginning of the spring term

best decision we ever made for her, and we had no problems at all. She was miserably unhappy at the previous school and had constant nightmares due to bullying.

She found new friends very quickly - it's so much easier for them at that age.
