Would appreciate any views on the school - is it academic/sporty/arty? Love the ethos but new to the area. Looking for a school for my DS for year 3.

We haven't got as far as year 3 yet but lots of sport, art, music and drama on offer. Academics seem good too, decent leavers destinations. Very happy with the school so far.

Thanks so much for replying. What do you think makes it different from the other schools, just trying to figure out what sort of families choose Amesbury. With the school on the A3 I presume it has a fairly wide catchment?

Lots of local families, but yes the A3 and the tunnel make it perfectly possible to travel in from a bit further away. Many parents commuting into London for work but a good mix so never boring.

Have found it a friendly school, got a good feeling about it that I didn't get from any other when doing the rounds a few years ago. There are a really decent amount of independent schools in the area so lots of choice. Such a personal decision.
