Hi all

Would be grateful for views on primary schools in Harrogate please, we are considering Rossett, Oatlands, St Peter's and Beckwithshaw. Would love to hear of people's experiences and of any other schools you would recommend and why?

Many thanks

I think that it's probably best to visit and make your mind up on that. They are very different in size - Oatlands has 90 children per year, Beckwithshaw probably has fewer than 20. Also, if you live somewhere already, catchment is the key. My children go to Oatlands and have been very happy there - the infant school is particularly great. You do have to apply for infants and juniors separately though, and siblings at the other school do not count when applying. I know people with children at all of the other schools, and they all seem happy with them.
