I'm looking for a good 7+ tutor for my daughter. She is currently in a state school in Kingston and I'd like to find a tutor to give her some guidance. i haven't found anyone by asking around as people normally do not do 7+ in where we live. Much appreciated!

Tutor names are jealously guarded! You want to get friendly with some parents of kids in Y3/4 of the schools you are aiming for who are no longer in competition and they'll know someone.

Why on earth would you subject a 7 yr old to tutoring ?

wikerlampshade, Thank you for the suggestion! Unfortunately I don't know any parents as the schools we are aiming for are not that local.

We missed the 4+ entry point and we do want to send our daughter to a good private school as early as possible. Unfortunately 7+ seems the only choice. We have been told to prepare for some advanced topics as our current state school is at least one term behind the expected levels of the schools we want to apply to. Both of us work full time and we would like some general direction and guidance from a good tutor. No heavy tutoring. Hope this is understandable!
