School admissions

Apologies if there's already an admissions thread... how did people get on? We got our second choice which is ok, I kind of expected we wouldn't get into our local catholic school, as we're not Catholics. So dd1 has been offered a place at the local primary and dd2 will stay at catholic nursery. We don't drive but dd2 will benefit from the exercise good luck everyone!

We got our second choice which is actually as good as our first choice. Genuinely would've been happy with any of the 3 we chose. It means I'll have to drive them in though because of timings 9f other kids!

Find out tomo but have friends In Other areas that got theirs last night.
I'm a bag of nerves we moved last Nov specifically to get dd into our first choice primary I just hope she does- it's super hard to get into ridiculously oversubscribed hence my nerves right now!
Fingers crossed for you all

I logged on to admissions thing last night and found out just before midnight that a place at our first choice has been offered for dd which is a relief because it means she's going to the same school as ds. I went to bed happy!

It's an oversubscribed school with only 40 places available and last year some children, despite having siblings at the school, weren't offered a place so it wasn't a given that dd would get in simply because our eldest is there.

We find out tomorrow. Pretty sure ds will get into the school his sister is at though!
