Right, kids going to Book Week dressed as a tiger on Thursday. My brother is making a mask for them (he's a graphic designer so he can do these things!) but what do I put them in? Thought about using a pair of tights to make 2 tails but still not sure how to do it.

HElp me, I'm crap at making things.

This is what I would do...
Get 1 pair of orange tights and cut them in half at the gusset. Take each one and half stuff it with wadding. Draw stripes on them with a black marker and tie them round their waist. Then dress them in orange/yellow and black clothes.

If you can't get orange tights then any opaque flesh coloured ones would do.

I once used large size bubble wrap as tail stuffing. Dont quote me anywhere else on here with that suggestion.

I used tights and stuffed one leg, then put an elastic band at top of that leg and used the other as a belt to wrap around the waist. No sewing!
