I am wondering if the school ( Independent, in North London) accepts childcare vouchers till the child is 5? Would mean a small saving for the first 2 terms...

You just need to phone them and ask. I persuaded our school to register

I'd keep quiet about that wickerlampshade? The childcare vouchers are only valid for school and nursery fees (or childcare) up to the age of 5; after that it's only for after school and holiday clubs.

If your ds's school accepts them to 7, they are breaking the rules.

Unless this is for after school clubs etc Wickerlampshade, this is completely against the rules and could result in a lot of issues (as effectively it is against the law)

Yes do ask the bursar. No reason why not as they should accept them for wrap around or holiday care. As dds school had a nursery we claimed nursery funding aswell as using childcare vouchers. I only started paying money from after Easter as dd was winter baby, summer babies could have all reception covered by nursery funding and 2 childcare vouchers.
