Apologies if this is in wrong place - please move if it is.
I have volunteered to do kerbcraft with my local primary school. The training starts next week. Has anyone done this training? If so , could they give me an idea of what to expect? The training lasts 12 weeks, 1 day a week. How long does each training session last? Does it involve any written work?
I realise that I should have asked about this when I got phone call inviting me to do it, but I just didn't think.

It varies by school depending on number of kids I think. They do it at my DS's school only it's only 10 weeks. You take groups of kids (roughly 3 per helper) out at a time and talk them through crossing roads etc at the roadside. The person running it should talk you through it. At ours while it ran all day the parents only did morning or afternoon. There is only written work if the weather is so terrible you can't go out (we didn't have any). I enjoyed it :).
