Year Six SPAG Book Recommendation

SpaghettiMeatballs · 16/03/2017 20:40

Does anyone have any recommendations for a book that will explain the current SPAG curriculum for year six please?

There are a lot on Amazon but reviews are mixed with a lot saying the content hasn't kept pace with the new curriculum requirements.

Thank you.

I have a Lett's one (it looks as though it has smarties or similar on the front) as a "text book" rather than a work book and I think it's pretty good. If you are looking for practice books, try the Schofield & Sims ones - if you go onto their website you can look at quite a few sample pages of each book to see if you like the layout/style.

I think I had Letts text books at senior school in 1990!

Thank you, I shall check that out. I want s text book as I just want to fully understand all the SPAG expectations in year six.

CPG have study books( used to do them for each year group) and work books to match.
